The production capacity of ammonia synthesis towers with a capacity of 1000 varies from one unit to another. I would like to ask the experts: how many categories can such towers be divided into based on their type, and what is their respective production capacity? ! What are the production capacities for 1200 and 1400 again?
For 32MPa ammonia synthesis, the production capacity is around 80,000 tons per year for a diameter of 1000, around 120,000 tons per year for a diameter of 1200, and around 150,000 tons per year for a diameter of 1400. For short and stout synthesis towers with a pressure of around 15–20 MPa, the capacity has to be reduced by one level. Our company’s 1200-diameter synthetic tower has a production capacity of over 130,000 tons per year.
The 1000-series towers are mainly divided into standard towers and short and stout towers. The emergence of these short and stout towers was due to limitations imposed on the existing towers in various fertilizer plants; since it was not possible to upgrade the 600- and 800-series towers any further, a talented engineer designed these new towers at the request of the Ministry of Chemical Industry. These towers increased the ammonia production capacity – the short and stout towers had a capacity of 40,000–60,000 units, while the standard towers had a capacity of 60,000–80,000 units. The designed capacity of a 1200 tower should be 100,000–120,000, while that of a 1400 tower should be 120,000–160,000. (The above assumptions all assume a design pressure of 30 MMa.) In later stages, ammonia synthesis towers moved towards larger sizes; models with capacities of 1600, 1800, and 2200 cubic meters appeared one after another, and significant improvements were made. The design pressure for these towers was generally below 23 MPa, which had a major impact on energy consumption. Their production capacity ranged from 160,000 to 180,000 tons per year; the 2200-model tower had a capacity of 200,000 to 240,000 tons per year. The largest domestically produced tower is the 3200-model tower, a product of Dahuajie Machinery, with a design pressure of 13.5 MPa and a capacity of 300,000 tons per year
What is the production capacity of Guochang’s 1500mm single-axis two-diameter ammonia tower? Pressure: 31.4 MPa; Catalyst volume: 15 cubic meters; Circulator flow rate: 17 cubic meters per minute; Ammonia cooling area: 360 square meters; Heat exchanger area: 267 square meters; Water cooler area: 668 square meters; Waste heat boiler area: 150 square meters; Heat exchanger area: 660 square meters
For a tower with a capacity of 1000, the maximum amount that can be processed in one day is 280 tons; over the course of a year, that amounts to 80,000–100,000 tons. It’s actually a 80,000-ton standard tower
