There is a control valve in the center of the pipeline, which is a fixed ball valve. There are short pipes of about 1.5m each connected to the equipment at both ends of the valve. In order to prevent pipeline deformation caused by the valve's own weight, a support is provided for the valve. Can the support be placed directly under the valve?
It is not appropriate to place the support directly under the valve. Two brackets should be set up to support the pipes at both ends of the valve. for your information.
It is not good to directly support it under the valve, which will cause leakage on the valve flange surface. One way is to make a shelf and fix it with the bolts of the valve flange. However, I think that is not very safe. Uneven stress on each bolt will also cause leakage on the flange end surface. Therefore, it is better to use the previous method, on the short pipes on both sides of the valve
