Treatment of worn membranes

I recently went through the ion exchange membranes that I have used, and after checking it, I found that many of them are no longer suitable for reuse; some of them are even unusable due to varying degrees of tearing. The ion exchange membranes we use are from Asahi Kasei. I wonder what has been done with these membranes so far. I hope everyone can offer some good suggestions! # ， ， &
Current methods for dealing with used membranes include: first, deep burial; second, incineration; and third, reextracting the sulfonic acid and carboxy resin from the membranes for other uses.

The extraction of sulfonic acid resins and carboxylic acid resins from used ion exchange membranes seems not to be carried out by specialized recycling companies in China, whereas such companies exist in foreign countries. Using recycled succinic acid resins to produce membranes is much cheaper than using complex synthesis processes to create ion exchange membranes.
