A two-stage drying process is employed (tubular drying before the mill, and straight-tube pneumatic drying after the mill); A dry, semi-open-circuit, intermediate-bin milling process is adopted. The hot flue gas used in drum dryers should be controlled at an appropriate temperature and oxygen content. The hot air used in the coal grinding equipment is a cycle of pure inert gas. Hehe~~~ To start a discussion, there is very little publicly available information regarding the large-scale drying and pulverization technologies for lignite raw materials intended for direct liquefaction. I hope more colleagues and experts will join the discussion or offer insights. Thank you for participating!

I agree with the poster’s two-stage drying process; I have also been looking for technologies in this area. For lignite that requires a low moisture content, the two-stage drying process seems to be a complementary approach
