Currently, environmental protection standards are quite strict, yet there are still many types of waste liquids that cannot be discharged in compliance with these standards. These include waste liquids from pesticide manufacturers, dye producers, pharmaceutical companies, intermediate manufacturers, coking plants, and so on. Which of these waste liquids are particularly difficult to treat and are therefore discharged without meeting the required standards?
Difficult-to-treat wastewater remains difficult to treat, but **it is required to be processed. Of course, there are cases where the standards are not met and the wastewater is discharged anyway; there is wastewater of all kinds that is discharged despite not meeting the standards
The key isn’t the technology; it’s the cost. As long as the cost is sufficient, any waste can be processed. It’s just that for some projects, once processing facilities are put in place, no profit can be made anymore. But the local authorities still insist on building such facilities and making a profit from them; so actually, the fault lies with them themselves. Of course, developing efficient and cost-effective environmental protection processes is certainly everyone’s goal
