What are the differences between the Aerotran air cooler and the Acol+ air cooler module in HTFS2006?
Aerotran is a legacy product of B-JAC, while Acol+ is a newly released air-cooler calculation software from HTFS+, which primarily integrates the ACOL calculation engine from HTFS with the interface and other advantages of Aerotran. For new users, it is recommended to use Acol+ for cooling coil calculations; Aerotran is mainly reserved for existing customers who are still accustomed to B-JAC products, and Aspen Tech no longer carries out any development on it. The focus of future development for air cooler calculations will be Acol+.
