Regarding the selection of instruments for light diesel tanks: it’s a fuel oil storage tank! Is it better to use a radar level gauge or an ultrasonic level gauge for level measurement? Additionally, what type of flow meter is suitable for measuring the flow rate of light diesel? How about vortex street sensors?
Light diesel is a medium that is relatively easy to measure; care should be taken to select the appropriate explosion-proof type； I’m not sure if you’ve used the K-TEK level gauge; it requires little maintenance and works very well. Are flow meters used for trade settlement? If so, it is best to choose a mass flow meter. If it’s just for normal display, vortex street is also a good option. If a vortex flow meter is used, special attention must be paid to pipeline vibration.
Flowmeters are not used for trade settlement! So, for diesel tanks, which is better: an ultrasonic level gauge or a radar level gauge?
Personally, I think it’s better to use radar; that’s what we use here :)
What level of precision is required? Is it an accurate measurement?
For measuring diesel, I recommend using an orifice flow meter; vortex flow meters rely on frequency detection, and using them to measure diesel is basically nonsense
