Yesterday, one of the furnaces here kept having excessive chlorine levels; the furnace pressure was positive (even reaching 10 KP), yet the flame remained red. I’m not sure what the cause is 1. Light bulb issue? 2. Clogged hydrogen pipe? 3. Is there a problem with the chlorine valve core? I hope everyone will speak up actively – share your ideas and engage in online discussions. # &
The pressure and flow rates of chlorine and hydrogen entering the furnace are the key factors for determining the issue; if these conditions are normal, then there is a problem with the lamp head

1. I have a sense of familiarity with the phenomenon described by the poster; 2. The furnace pressure in this case is too high; for ordinary chlor-alkali plants, the condition of hydrogen entering the furnace is not good ; 3. When hydrogen supply to the furnace is inadequate, an improper ratio of chlorine to hydrogen is formed, resulting in excessive chlorine content ; 4. The process of moving from perhydrogen to perchlorine and then back to perhydrogen is quite dangerous, as it can lead to explosions within the system ; 5. It is recommended to check the negative pressure in front of the furnace while the system is parked, as well as inspect the acid flow pipes, to ensure proper separation of gas and liquid within the system and to prevent any gas blockages ; 6. As long as there is smooth flow of both gas and liquid in the synthesis system, there will be no problems.
