How to improve CAD skills quickly

Improving CAD skills mainly involves the following aspects: 1. Drawing, 2. Application, 3. Development. If the goal is solely to improve drawing skills, it is recommended to first become familiar with the purpose of each function in the menu, so that you can quickly find the function you need. Of course, knowing the shortcut keys (left-hand keys) is also essential. Additionally, practice by drawing more diagrams; remember to learn to reflect on your work – there are many ways to draw the same diagram, so try to apply what you’ve learned to similar situations! As for application and development, let’s not discuss that for now; if you’re interested, we can talk about it individually! Incidentally, I graduated from the civil engineering department in 1998; back then we used CAD R14 in its fully English version. To be honest, my English was quite poor, so I had no choice but to remember the general location of each command (function) and then search for them one by one. I used it in that way for over 2 years. It wasn’t until 2007, when I went for an interview at a chemical engineering design firm, that I started using CAD again, which led me down the path of secondary development.
