Recently, a new batch of crude oil for trains has arrived; it is Mongolian crude oil. Since it is necessary to calculate the heating time, some information is missing, and I am seeking advice from everyone on the calculation methods and relevant parameters. Available data: The density of Mongolian crude oil at 20°C is 873.3 kg/m3 ; The dynamic viscosity at 50°C is 64.4 mm2/S ; The freezing point is 34°C. The sulfur and nitrogen contents are 0.13% and 0.21% respectively, while the salt content and acid value are 106 mg NaCl/l and 0.36 mg KOH/g respectively ; Residue is 4.02% on a mass basis, and ash content is 0.018% on a mass basis ; In terms of the crude oil distillation range, the fraction distilled before 300°C is 21.3% (V%). The requested information is as follows: 1. Calculation parameters for the heat capacity of Mongolian crude oil. 2. The heat transfer coefficient for heat transfer from the inner wall of the heating jacket to the oil inside the tank. 3. If it’s just a matter of calculating the heating time, there’s no need to go through such complicated procedures. Usually, we simply start the heating process and then observe the temperature changes over several hours in order to determine the total time required. If you calculate it based on theoretical data, it may not necessarily be accurate
It means that the first column has been unloaded; now it’s time to prepare a summary. This summary needs to include calculations regarding the heating time, and it has to be submitted – it’s really frustrating! The data is incomplete; it’s based on some indicators related to Shengli Oil, and the figures differ greatly from the actual values. It’s possible there’s an issue with my calculation skills as well!
