Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic gas, so it certainly cannot be released directly. The chemical industry generally uses the Claus process to remove hydrogen sulfide.

Definitely not anymore. If you want to save money, you can use activated carbon for adsorption and then regenerate it at high temperatures to obtain sulfur, or burn it and absorb the resulting substances with an alkaline solution.

The emission concentration is indeed directly related to the emission height.
