By carrying out primary and secondary sulfur purification steps, sulfur concentrate with a purity of 45% could be obtained, achieving a recovery rate of 92% and an annual production volume of 357,500 tons. A mineral processing plant in Guangdong uses a single-stage closed-circuit grinding process with one roughing stage, one refining stage, and two washing stages to produce pyrite with a sulfur content of over 45%.
