Can an underground oil tank do without an oil unloading pipeline? Is it allowed by the regulations for a tank truck to use its own hose to connect directly to the tank’s opening in order to unload oil? Thank you for sharing!
That’s not allowed, right? Generally, underground oil tanks require oil discharge pipes; if oil is discharged directly from the tank’s outlet, static electricity can easily be generated, which is unsafe. It’s just my opinion.
I think it’s the fire safety regulations that require a certain distance to be maintained between the oil discharge port and the oil tank
This situation occurs during temporary oil production in oil fields; such installations have been made before, but they were all carried out by the owners themselves, without any design by a professional design firm. This situation is generally not allowed.
