Two questions about HYSYS

1. Can HYSYS be used to simulate mechanically ventilated counterflow cooling towers? If so, how is it done? Please provide a model 2. What does “approach temp” mean in LNG heat exchangers? Could someone explain what the use of it is? Thank you very much
The first question is that Hysys can only perform simple heat load calculations; for detailed equipment selection calculations, HTFS seems to be required. The second question: \"approach temp\" means the temperature approach value. It’s similar to the minimum heat transfer temperature. If it is below a certain temperature value (such as 10°C), the calculated device area will increase rapidly!
