During the loading and unloading of crude oil by train, leaks always occur when the connection is disconnected. How can this be resolved?
At present, there are no effective methods or measures; due to the viscosity of the oil, leaks occur when the loading/unloading hoses come apart at the connection points. Some organizations create small containers that are attached to these connection points, and once the connection is disengaged, the hose end is placed inside these containers to prevent leakage and avoid fires.

I have experience with loading, but not with unloading； Our most extreme approach when loading is to use cement bags and tie them to the tank opening; this method works extremely well for dealing with trucks with oil leaks, as it allows us to block the outlet directly at the tank opening. Of course it won’t congeal, please rest assured. I won’t go into detail about the others.
