There are several ways to treat phosphates – what are the usage conditions?
Generally, phosphate dosing involves preparing a phosphate solution with a concentration of 2%–5%, which is then added to the boiler drum using a metering pump. For medium-pressure boilers (with a rated steam pressure of less than 3.8 MPa), the dosage is used to keep the phosphate level in the boiler water between 5 and 15 mg/l. In medium and low-pressure boilers, phosphate-based chemical agents are used for water treatment to provide corrosion inhibition and scale prevention. In many cases, such as for low- to medium-capacity boilers with a capacity of less than 10 tons, chemical dosing is basically already carried out using a dosing pump at the feedwater stage.
