For the scale of 100,000 tons of caustic soda, we use three to prepare two. The outlet pressure of the chlorine press is 0.16-0.17MPa (the current operating value was 0.15MPa when it was started at the end of last year), and the pressure of the distribution table is 0.15MPa. The biggest problem at present is that the rated current of the 2000-type motor is 365A (the value on the nameplate), and the actual on-site pointer ammeter value is 310-320A. It is very distressing, because sometimes due to insufficient pumping force, the system will be under positive pressure for a long time, and it is a waste to operate four units. After all, each unit has a power of 200KW, and it will be short of breath to operate three units. I have also tried to adjust the mechanical clearance to increase the suction force, but it always fails to solve the problem. The drying system is normal and there are no problems such as fluid accumulation. There is no insufficient suction force due to the negative pressure system that draws air in from other places. It seems that the running current is still low. I don’t know if there is any way to increase the current to increase the suction force, because there is still a lot of room for increase in the current value. In addition, I also missed using the 075 Nessler pump. Although the pumping power was only 1600, the rated current was 320A and the operating current was 300A. After the modification, not only was it difficult to start the machine, but the strength of the impeller was also problematic. In just a few months, several impellers had been broken. # , , &
This is not a problem of current. Low current only means that the motor power is redundant. Your question is how to increase the pumping force. I don’t know whether the positive pressure in your plant’s system happens occasionally or frequently or all the time. If it happens occasionally or frequently, you should consider operational issues. If it continues to be like this, it means that the Nasdaq pump has insufficient capacity. If this is the case, certain measures can be taken to increase the pumping force.: 1. Reduce the amount of acid cycle. 2. Reduce the pressure of the downstream chlorine system. I wonder if your factory produces liquid chlorine and whether the tail chlorine produces hydrochloric acid. If so, it can increase the output of hydrochloric acid and reduce the liquefaction pressure. At this temperature, the liquefaction pressure can reach 0.1MP.
I have some doubts about the first proposal. According to the above operation method, reducing the amount of acid circulation is reducing the current. But corresponding problems arise. In summer, the reduction in acid circulation may lead to an increase in heat generation in the pump body. At present, when the local temperature is around 4°C, the outlet chlorine gas temperature of the chlorine press is already 55°C. There is no guarantee that the chlorine gas outlet temperature will still rise when the temperature reaches 40°C in summer. In addition, our unit produces liquid chlorine and tail chlorine produces hydrochloric acid. However, hydrochloric acid is limited to supply and marketing levels, and the furnace has maintained a minimum output. Once the hydrochloric acid load is increased, the marketing company cannot sell the excess hydrochloric acid.
Can you try according to my suggestions? These are all based on experience. The remaining third suggestion is to open a chlorine press.

The use of Nessler pumps is related to many factors, such as manufacturing quality, maintenance level, and usage conditions. Manufacturing quality is related to the level of the manufacturer. The gap between the impeller and the casing, the setting of the suction and exhaust areas, and the negative pressure in the direction of the long half axis of the ellipse should be as large as possible, that is, the space is large enough. In the short half axis, the discharge capacity should be sufficient. ; Maintenance is mainly about gap adjustment ; The use is related to the piping and the pressure of the rear system. The lower the pressure, the greater the capacity. Sometimes when multiple pumps are used together, you must pay attention to the process piping. It is best to keep the distance between the pumps short and the main pipe in the middle. Otherwise, the capacity of the farthest pump will definitely be affected. It is also best to install a pressure regulating device at the outlet of each pump to make the outlet pressure of each pump consistent and not affect other pumps.
