I have a problem and need help!

I have been working at CNPC Engineering Design Company for over half a year. Although the company provides decent treatment in terms of benefits, it’s not excellent, and the salary isn’t very high either; however, I can learn a lot there. But I don’t want to stay in Beijing; I want to go to Chongqing! I think one should be able to learn a lot no matter where they go. But there are no companies in Chongqing or Sichuan that want me. . Mainly, I don’t know which companies are short of staff. . Should I renew it in July? Does anyone in Sichuan or Chongqing know of any companies that are hiring? I really want to go to Chongqing. . . I just started working here and I’m a bit lost. Please, guys and girls, give me some advice.
If it’s not comfortable, then just leave； If you miss home, then just leave ； Chongqing, with all its greatness, surely has room for you. A line from a movie from twenty years ago is truly classic: Keep moving forward; don’t look to the sides. Once you’ve identified your path, take the step forward. Or wait until the Olympics start and then go; this is a rare opportunity.
I ask the original poster: others are eager to come to Beijing, so why do you insist so much on returning to Chongqing? It’s all about life, it’s all about work; it’s the same everywhere.
Just seeing those cars in Beijing makes me annoyed; I really don’t want to settle down there! Buying a house in Beijing by relying on oil profits – we’re not even going to wait until Chinese football wins the World Cup.
Go to Chengdu; it’s not far from Chongqing. Chengdu has a large ethylene plant; check it online and send in your resume.
I’ve had this mindset too – fighting against one’s own thoughts; no matter which path is chosen, it’s the right one, and it takes courage to do so.
Sympathize with the owner’s situation and understand their feelings. Wish you can enjoy it as you wish soon.

You’ve only been working for half a year; I guess you don’t yet have enough assets to change jobs. Half a year of experience in an engineering design firm is not enough; it would be better for the person in question to make a plan to work there for three years, during which time they should strive to learn as much as possible in their current role. This way, when they decide to leave, many companies will be willing to hire them.
Accumulate some work experience first; by taking each step carefully, one will have the means to make any choices
It would be great to work at CNPC Engineering Design Company, but I can’t even get there. Think it through carefully; it’s not easy to get into good companies these days. If you really miss home, go back to your hometown; you can find a job anywhere, though the pay may differ. It depends on how one positions themselves.
