Is a screw chiller with 2 million BTU capacity reliable in extremely cold conditions?

Recently, our facility plans to expand its production capacity, with a significant increase in the amount of cooling required. Previously, we used screw-type ammonia refrigeration compressors manufactured by Dalian Refrigerator Factory, with a cooling capacity of 500,000 Btu per hour; now we intend to use compressors with a capacity of 1,000,000 Btu per hour. However, I’ve heard that these 1,000,000 Btu per hour screw compressors were developed quite recently, and their quality is not very reliable. I would appreciate some expert advice: is a 1 million kcal screw compressor reliable in such cold weather? Thank you!
We use machines from Wuhan Refrigerator Factory; one of them is still within its warranty period. After several repairs carried out by the manufacturer, they have now sent us an ultimatum, demanding that we limit the current used by the machine.
Our facility also has a large-capacity screw chiller, which performs fairly well. However, it still lags behind imported models from Germany and Japan; its failure rate is higher, and it requires shutdown for major repairs every year.
My previous company already had two large chillers, with a capacity of 1 million BTU each； It’s worked well all this time. Later, the facility was expanded with two more units of 2 million kcal each. I was involved in the bidding process; we had three options: York, Da Leng, and Yantai Binglun, and in the end Da Leng was chosen. Support domestic products!
The 2 million kcal screw chillers, despite being extremely cold, perform well in our facility; currently, three chillers of this same model are in use and they work quite well. Of course, the volume of repairs needs to be determined based on each country’s management capabilities and technical expertise. Overall, the equipment performs well in extremely cold conditions; domestic manufacturers need to summarize this and provide support!
