May I ask the teachers what the regulations are regarding the temperatures of the products outlet units in catalytic cracking processes, and why?
In my opinion, the temperature of refined oil leaving the processing unit is generally between 40 and 60 degrees; too high a temperature leads to significant evaporation, while too low a temperature may result in poor fluidity
I believe the temperature of the oil as it leaves the unit should be below its flash point, because if it is above the flash point, ignition may occur
The temperature of gasoline after cooling is generally no more than 40 degrees. The temperature of light diesel after cooling is generally no more than 55 degrees. The temperature of heavy diesel and wax oil after cooling is usually between 70 and 80 degrees. The temperature of residue after cooling is generally no more than 160 degrees. The temperature of oil slurry and other types of oil products that are separated out is generally no more than 100 degrees. Light oil products need to be protected from loss due to high-temperature evaporation, while heavy oil products require consideration regarding their fluidity as well as the possibility of storing them in boiling tanks
The temperature selected for the discharge of refined oil from the plant is also determined based on economic and safety considerations. At higher temperatures, the volatility of the oil increases, especially for lighter oils such as gasoline, leading to greater losses. Additionally, there are safety issues: when the temperature exceeds 100 degrees, \"boiling over\" can occur easily. If the temperature is too low, the viscosity of the oil, especially heavier oils, increases, making transportation less economical. Moreover, a low temperature requires more cooling equipment, which increases costs and is also not economical; therefore, the choice of temperature is the result of comprehensive consideration.
