How to Install a Rotor Steam Flow Meter

The flowmeter must be installed on a horizontal pipe. The flow direction of the steam medium should be consistent with the direction pointed by the arrow of the steam flowmeter. There must be a straight pipe section greater than 10D before the steam inlet and a straight pipe section greater than 5D after the outlet. The inner diameter of the pipe must be the same as the nominal diameter of the flowmeter. When the actual pipe diameter is inconsistent with the nominal diameter of the flow meter, in addition to installing the required straight pipe sections at the inlet and outlet of the flow meter, a trumpet pipe can be installed to expand or contract the pipe diameter. When installing the steam flow meter, the indicator must be placed below the pipe, so that the vertical axis of the flow meter and the ground are less than ±5 degrees, so as not to affect the measurement accuracy. Before the flowmeter is operated, the inner cavity of the damper must be filled with damping fluid. You can remove the bolts at the water injection hole, exhaust hole and drain hole on the damper, and inject damping fluid. When the liquid flowing out of the drain hole is free of yellow rust and dirt, tighten the bolts on the drain hole. Continue to inject it into the overflow for 30 seconds. When the liquid level remains unchanged, tighten the bolts of the water injection hole and exhaust hole.
