Recently, our city and Hubei Yihua Group held a project signing ceremony; Yihua Group plans to invest 10 billion yuan in building a Yihua Industrial Park in Wuda Economic Development Zone, to develop the coal chemical and salt chemical industries. 　　Wei**, the secretary of the municipal Party committee, Bai Xiangqun, the mayor, Jiang Yuanhua, the chairman, general manager and secretary of the Party committee of Hubei Yihua Group, and Xu Delin, the vice mayor, attended the project signing ceremony. 　　The projects invested in our city by Hubei Yihua Group include a coal mine with an annual production capacity of 2 million tons, 2 thermal power plants with an annual capacity of 200,000 kilowatts each, a coke production facility with an annual capacity of 1 million tons, a methanol production plant with an annual capacity of 125,000 tons, an acetic acid production plant with an annual capacity of 200,000 tons, a calcium carbide production plant with an annual capacity of 800,000 tons, a PVC production plant with an annual capacity of 400,000 tons, a caustic soda production plant with an annual capacity of 300,000 tons, a vinyl acetate production plant with an annual capacity of 300,000 tons, a PVC product manufacturing plant with an annual capacity of 200,000 tons, and a 1.4-butanediol production plant with an annual capacity of 50,000 tons. The above projects will be constructed in three phases, with completion planned within 5 years. Upon completion of the project, sales revenue of 20 billion yuan will be generated. 　　It is reported that Hubei Yihua Group Co., Ltd. is one of the 520 key enterprises in the country. Established in 1977, it has grown into a large enterprise group operating in three main sectors: coal chemicals, phosphorus chemicals, and salt chemicals. Its products cover more than 20 varieties across three fields: fertilizers, chemical products, and thermal power. Yihua is the largest producer of chlor-alkali products in Hubei Province.
