Heat exchanger or preheater? This covers too wide a range – preheating air with flue gas from industrial furnaces? In fact, a boiler is just a heat exchanger.
It’s really hard to answer. “Both “heating furnace” and “heat exchanger” are conceptual terms that encompass various types of equipment. For example, heating furnaces that come in different structural forms ； Heating furnaces with different heat sources or fuels. The same is true for heat exchangers; take a regular steam boiler as an example: the boiler itself is a form of heat exchanger ； The steam superheater is another type of heat exchanger ； A feedwater preheater, also known as a economizer, is another type of heat exchanger. You might as well start with the devices you see around you and make your questions more specific. so that everyone can answer.
