There is a system in use that features a Siemens 315-2DP CPU, along with a 343 communication module, an A/I/O module, and a D/I/O module. It has been experiencing frequent crashes recently. The specific symptoms are as follows: 1. The crashes occur at irregular intervals, with a cycle of 1 to 3 days; 2. When it occurs, the program stops running, and all the indicator lights on the CPU turn on ; 3. Electromagnetic interference and loose cards have been ruled out ; Now I’m wondering: is the CPU damaged? Is there still a problem with the lower-level program? Is it a problem with the higher-level program? Could someone experienced help analyze what exactly is causing this? :time:

The problem is that the project is located in another location, and the plant’s own control personnel lack sufficient technical skills. :If it can be determined that the problem lies with the CPU hardware, then a new one can be brought in; the concern is that it might not be needed once it’s brought, thus wasting money ; Or if it’s not brought, it’s a wasted trip. :Q So, I was wondering if anyone has encountered a similar problem? How was it solved?
I think it’s a software issue; there is a periodic pattern to it, while hardware problems rarely occur on a periodic basis.:time:
There is no pattern or regularity, and now the system crashes more frequently; it only operates properly for a few hours at a time. I’m very worried!
