Currently, wastewater and similar issues have become problems that factories need to address. So membranes and electrodialysis will take center stage, where we can exchange ideas and conduct discussions. I hope this platform becomes even better.
I don’t think electrodialysis has any prospects for wastewater treatment. Reliable electrodialysis equipment is expensive, and since it’s wastewater, it’s unlikely that such systems can withstand contamination. As for membrane treatment of wastewater, the concentrated waste stream is also difficult to handle.
Is there then no good way to deal with wastewater? Especially high-salt wastewater, which cannot be treated at sewage treatment plants, must undergo pretreatment. I wonder if anyone has any good methods.
