Materials for chlorobenzene pipelines

The material we use for our chlorobenzene storage tanks and pipelines is 316L (low pressure, normal temperature). I’m not sure if this is suitable

Carbon steel can be used; if stainless steel is used, it needs to be passivated.
Chlorobenzene is insoluble in water; its chlorine must be precipitated or replaced under special conditions, so there is no need to consider the corrosion of metal materials by chloride ions. Under your operating conditions, carbon steel will suffice. You are using 316L; I wonder if it is due to considerations regarding corrosion or cleanliness. If chloride corrosion is suspected, then using 316L is not appropriate, as 316L is austenitic. If cleanliness is a requirement, ordinary 304 will suffice. For reference.
