Survey on the usage/characteristics of vanadium catalysts in China

I hope everyone will share their views on the use of vanadium catalysts, and discuss aspects such as the catalytic activity, mechanical strength, and tendency to agglomerate of those produced in China (such as companies in Kaifeng/Xiangfan Jingxin/Nanhua/Tongren, etc.).:loveliness:
Xiangfan Jingxin – we use products from this manufacturer. The effect is good, and the price is acceptable – it’s much cheaper than imported ones!
If high environmental standards are required, such as emissions from exhaust gases having to meet specified limits, then you must consider using imported catalysts.
We have used those from Kaifeng and Xiangfan; the ones from Kaifeng have better activity and strength.
We have used those from Xiangfan and Tongren; it seems that the catalyst from Xiangfan is of better quality. We have been using it for three years now, and its activity is still satisfactory, though its tendency to degrade over time is slightly worse. Its performance is excellent when the temperature is below 520 degrees. The sensitivity of Tongren is slightly lower, and its ignition temperature is a bit higher; it does not achieve good conversion rates when used in the later stages. However, it has good strength – when stepping on it while screening the catalyst, it does not break easily nor become dusty. We haven’t used those from Kaifeng and Nanhua, so it’s hard to say.
The use of domestic catalysts in domestic plants has yielded both positive results and less satisfactory outcomes. Personally, I think there may be issues with the stability of domestic catalysts.
The same problem exists with catalysts abroad as well.
We used those from Xiangfan and Tongren; the ones from Xiangfan are slightly better, with decent activity levels, but they are a bit worse in terms of powdering tendency. The ignition temperature in Tongren is slightly higher. From an environmental perspective, exhaust emissions must meet specified standards. Imported catalysts are of good quality, but their price is too high; domestically produced catalysts are sufficient if they are of adequate quality, which supports domestic industry.
We have been using Jingxin catalysts, and the results have been good; we’ve been using them for 8 or 9 years now without ever needing to replace them in large quantities. Only some amount was added after screening, and testing of the samples showed that all performance parameters were satisfactory.
I used Kaifeng Sanfeng before; last year I heard that the company had split up and so I didn’t dare to use it anymore. After some research, I decided to switch to Xiangfan brand, and it has performed well for almost a year now.
