I have 2 things where I need everyone’s help~ I really appreciate it if you can leave replies to assist! :handshake (1) Does the caking of azobisisobutyronitrile have a significant impact on synthesis? :Q: The azobisisobutyronitrile I bought is in lumps; the manufacturer said that almost all the goods delivered are in lumps. Since it is used in organic synthesis, even the slightest impact has a significant effect; I’m not sure whether it will have a major influence on the experimental results. Is there a way to solve it? (2) Are there any good manufacturers that can supply azo compounds? Are there any good manufacturers that supply azo compounds? Please help recommend some~ This post was last edited by wivern on 2008-9-4 16:28.]
I encountered this issue while working on my graduation thesis as well; one can first dissolve it in anhydrous ethanol and then recrystallize it
Clumping is normal; we also experience clumping when using pentanenitrile, and it can be broken apart simply by knocking it. We use products from Shanghai Sishi Hevi, and there are also many other companies in Jiangsu that produce them. You can find quite a few by checking out the CPHI International Pharmaceutical Raw Materials Exhibition.
Clumping is normal; once crystallization is complete, it forms lumps.
Crystallization is a normal phenomenon; it is usually used after being broken apart! It’s not a big problem~~ It mainly depends on the solubility!
Hello everyone, our company specializes in the production of azo-based initiators, including azobisisobutyronitrile. If you need any of these products, feel free to contact me at 18758005886 – it’s Xiao Wu
Which company’s products are you buying?
Are there any information on other manufacturers? I’ve searched online for ages but haven’t found any better ones.
