During the alcohol production process, when the liquid is cooled by a plate heat exchanger, it is common for the inlet of this heat exchanger to get clogged by stray rope ends and fibers. Do any of you have any good methods for clearing these rope ends and fibers?
Installing two filters in parallel before the inlet pipeline and cleaning them regularly in turn should solve this problem.

The problem now is that the liquefied liquid contains residues; the key when using a filter is choosing the right type of filter mesh – it needs to allow the residues in the liquefied liquid to pass through easily, while at the same time preventing fine, flexible fibers from getting through. It’s not easy to achieve this. If the filter mesh is too dense, it can get clogged; if it’s too loose, it won’t be effective. Moreover, the filter mesh should be easy to remove and clean. Could an experienced friend provide the relevant parameters for this filter?
