The last edit to this post was made by sunjl1981 on 2013-1-6 at 22:56; during normal operation, the pressure in the main HCl pipeline, which goes from synthesis to conversion, suddenly rose to over 100 kPa, to such an extent that hydrogen could no longer enter and the furnace had to be shut down urgently. The pressure before the converter is normal (what the conversion staff say isn’t necessarily reliable); this has happened twice in two days. What type of synthesis furnace is used by the poster for hydrogen chloride production? What kind of pipeline is used for this section leading to the mixer? What is the change in acetylene pressure? If the converter pressure is normal, then the pressure before the converter needs to be analyzed one by one.
It may be that the condenser or the acid discharge pipe of the HCl distribution station is blocked, or there is condensed acid in the HCl pipeline, causing a liquid blockage that leads to an increase in furnace pressure. :victory: b13962096400@126.com
It’s likely that the resistance in the mixed dehydration system is high; we can find out by checking whether the pressure of acetylene has increased.
If acid treatment is being carried out, it is possible to check whether the water absorbed by the absorption system is flowing back into the distribution station, thereby causing a local liquid seal in that station.
