You can also buy a ready-made muffler or design and make your own. Be careful to use materials such as bronze that do not cause static electricity, otherwise it will catch fire as soon as it is vented. That's a bad idea mentioned above. Isn't there a risk of fire and explosion if the flammable gas is discharged into the pool?
Will flammable gas explode if discharged into water? I haven't heard of it. What I provide is just an idea. There are many additional conditions for real ranking. Anyone who has worked at the dock should know this.
I personally think that it is better not to add a muffler first. The amount of venting will generally not be very large, and the sound will not be loud. If the amount of venting is large and in an emergency, if you add a muffler, doesn't it mean that the venting speed is slowed down? What you said on the fifth floor is not unreasonable. I just want to ask. Is there any vent in a chemical plant that is not flammable and explosive? Are you talking about bronze or steel? Another point is, if combustible gas is discharged into the pool, won't you be afraid of catching fire and exploding? Some flammable gases and water will hydrolyze, but it's not as serious as you said. If it were vented into the pool, the water in the pool would have deteriorated long ago. How could it explode? The solution of walking into the pool is feasible, but it also has a disadvantage: sanitation is too difficult. It would be better if there is a sewage treatment station.
For large pressure vessels such as towers, the volume can reach hundreds of cubic meters, and the combustible gas venting volume can reach thousands of cubic meters per hour. If it is discharged to a low place, is there no need to worry about gas accumulation? The gas stored in the ditch may explode. It’s not clear how the pier is discharged. It’s probably relatively empty. The situation in a chemical plant is so complicated! Otherwise, why are the vent pipes connected to high places? The vent pipe and silencer are designed with the maximum vent volume in mind. If the muffler is made of the wrong material, it can easily cause a fire when the vent volume is large. Please think twice!
If a large amount of flammable gas is vented, it is usually burned in a torch. The method I mentioned certainly works for noble gases.
It seems that there is no better method yet. In fact, our venting gas is not flammable, but the venting pressure and air volume are large, and the sound is very loud, so I just want to slow it down. I don’t know if anyone has a good design and can post it.
This should be considered comprehensively. First of all, consider the process. Most of the sounds are caused by the vent pipeline being too thin, not matching the vent volume, or having too many turns or narrow diameters.
