Is there any company in China that uses Shell’s technology to generate electricity?

Shell gasification was designed for power generation from the outset; in China, Shell’s technology is used in the chemical industry! Is there any company that uses Shell’s technology for power generation?
Reply: Not yet. To date, SHELL has signed 16 licensing agreements for gasification technology in China; the 16th and final agreement was signed with Henan Zhongyuan Coal Chemical Co., Ltd., which was established through the merger of Henan Hebi Coal Industry Group and Zhongyuan Da Hua, for an annual methanol production capacity of 600,000 tons. This agreement came into effect in December 2007, covering a total of 20 gasification units. Of the 20 gasifiers, 9 are used for producing synthetic ammonia, 9 for producing methanol, and 2 for producing hydrogen.
I agree with the second floor’s view. SHELL’s first set of such systems was used for power generation abroad. In China, it is claimed that this technology is suitable for the local conditions there (as there are not many restrictions regarding the type of coal used), but it seems that this technology has not yet been applied to power generation in China.
