During oil circulation, the temperature is low, so the heating effect is not very good. What is the operating temperature for screw pumps, and what are the consequences of operating them at low temperatures?

The stator of screw pumps is generally made of NBR rubber, which becomes brittle at low temperatures, leading to accelerated wear.
Why does the manual specify a temperature of over 25 degrees? Please help to figure this out
It’s a screw oil pump, right! The oil pump requires an oil temperature of over 25 degrees; this has nothing to do with screw oil pumps. It is mainly because oil has a high viscosity and poor flowability at low temperatures, which affects the quality of lubrication in the equipment.
Does it have an impact on the seal? Please explain
Of course it has an impact; generally, oil pumps are designed with self-lubrication or self-cleaning features. Imagine if the oil temperature reaches or approaches the freezing point of the lubricant – the oil loses its fluidity, and as a result, the mechanical seal or packing no longer receives any lubrication or cooling. The consequences are obvious.
