What causes bulging in a gasification furnace?
What does that mean? Does it refer to overheating of the gasifier furnace wall? If so, the bulging of the furnace wall is already quite severe! The wall temperature of that furnace is already very high; it’s impossible to wait until bulging occurs – an emergency shutdown is necessary!

The basic situation is that the furnace bricks are damaged, allowing gas to leak out and come into direct contact with the outer wall of the furnace; as a result, the wall heats up and swells. We’re not sure yet whether it’s the high pressure difference in the gasification furnace that causes the tray to deform and shift, thereby pulling the furnace bricks out of their positions, or if it’s a problem related to the construction of the furnace itself. Where exactly is it? How do you carry out furnace drying? Was it because the refractory bricks already had cracks at that time, combined with the operating pressure of the furnace and improper control of temperature?
There should be an alarm for the furnace wall temperature! What about the operator? If it is confirmed to be a genuine alarm, an emergency stop should be initiated! Independent of anything else, safety first!
