I am currently a fourth-year undergraduate at Nanjing University, and I still have two and a half years of graduate studies ahead of me; my field of study is fine chemical engineering. But I don’t know how to determine the direction of study*. In schools, the best places for graduates of my major to go are foreign companies like DuPont and BASF, but there aren’t many positions available there. What’s left are basically private enterprises in the delta area. Few people go to the design institute. My own interests lie in managing production sites or working in design. Although chemical synthesis is my strength, I don’t want to do it due to the high toxicity involved. I’m not sure which path has a better future. I want to work in a design institute, but I don’t know how they recruit employees, as my school has never heard of them coming to recruit there. . . Please give me some advice, seniors
It’s best to join a company that is in its early stages of development or experiencing rapid growth. Of course, the compensation should be good, and it would be ideal if the company could go public in the future; having shares in the company would be perfect. For reference only, hehe.
For managing the production site, a bachelor’s degree graduate is sufficient. Of course, after graduating with a master’s degree, one might progress more quickly. As for design institutes, there should still be quite a few job openings, right? Go and ask around more
