What coefficients are generally used by various manufacturers to quote prices for the various components of pressure vessels? Why can there be such large differences in prices for equipment from the same batch?
The quote is determined based on factors such as the difficulty level of the container, the unit price of materials, auxiliary materials, transportation costs, testing fees, labor costs, taxes, machine usage time, and profit. Since the cost of materials is transparent, the manufacturing costs vary depending on the version; the differences lie in transportation costs and profit amounts. For conventional pressure vessels, if the manufacturing units chosen have similar capabilities, the prices will not differ much. However, when comparing large state-owned enterprises with private enterprises, the cost difference is quite significant

Because by the time you’ve finished calculating all of this, you think you’ve included everything that should be included, but it often doesn’t reflect market conditions. In fact, in this industry these days, bids are usually won on the basis of the lowest price; so it’s not about how much you want to earn, but rather about determining the minimum amount you need to earn in order to take on a project! Among those factors determining the price, there are two key ones: 1. Shipping costs: It’s somewhat better for regular containers, as the costs are more or less the same in that case ; It’s mainly equipment with a diameter of over 3 meters; often, the shipping cost alone can differ by hundreds of thousands. 2. Profit: It is the lowest amount you can afford after deducting expenses; of course, more would be better. The other elements are basically transparent; it’s similar across the whole country!
