We are selecting an automatic control valve for liquid chlorine liquefaction and vaporization. The design institute chose a single-seat bellows sealing valve for us. The valve internals and bellows are lined with fluorine, 316L. Which material is better, C-276? Can anyone with experience give me some advice? Thank you. For single-seat bellows sealing valves, the valve trim and bellows are lined with fluorine. C-276 material is good, but it is best to make two spare parts for the matching single-seat valve bellows. It is better to use double flanges for the liquid chlorine storage tank level gauge. If you do not care about the dead zone being too large, you can also use an external level gauge.
Diaphragm adjustment valve, I have used it and it is OK. There is also a type of adjustment valve with a valve core made of polytetrafluoroethylene.
The radar has not been used. If it is a double flange, regardless of whether you use 316L or C-276, as long as a layer of polytetrafluoroethylene film is placed on the double flange diaphragm during installation, the service life of the instrument can be increased.
If the linearity requirements of the adjustment are not very high, you can consider using a diaphragm regulating valve. It is recommended to use external measurement for liquid level measurement, and the use effect is still very good.
The regulating valve uses a bellows seal, and the valve trim and bellows are lined with fluorine, which are imported! Domestic life span is too short! Except if you don't care about leaks. Radar can be used for liquid level measurement, please consult the supplier for details, Cologne, Germany! If it's cheaper, use Chengde Cologne's magnetic column level gauge with remote transmission. Of course, the radar and magnetic column level gauge are lined with fluorine! It is not recommended to use double flanges, it is too expensive and easy to be corroded!
