I’m naturally timid, but I’m also full of a sense of justice and a sense of mission! The company once laid off employees and asked us for our requests. At first, no one said anything; it was only when I was the first to put forward our demands that others followed suit! If I were a people’s congress representative, what proposals would I put forward?
I’ve been working in the chemical industry, dealing with the sale of various chemicals, and earning a salary that’s barely sufficient to make ends meet; this has led to feelings of dissatisfaction and resentment. Although the chemical industry is often portrayed as the foundation of modern industry, its workers receive salaries that don’t match the importance of their role! One should not concern oneself with matters outside one’s scope of responsibility; many proposals put forward by deputies to the People’s Congress are complete nonsense, concocted on the spot! If I were a people’s representative, I would suggest that a portion of the taxes collected from hazardous industries such as chemicals, metallurgy, and mining be used to provide special allowances for workers in all related industries
Once you delve into the field of chemistry, it seems like an endless ocean~~~ I’ll keep working overtime to write~~
1. The retirement age for workers in the chemical industry should be lowered, regardless of whether they are engaged in special types of work, as they work in toxic and harmful environments for long periods of time. 2. A subsidy should be added to pensions. 3. Encourage young people to work in the chemical industry, and promote the use of mechanization and automation.
