Today, former NBA star Tracy McGrady was officially inducted into the 2017 class of the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame, and former Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy offered his congratulations. “Tracy has had an incredible career. When people think of him, the vast majority will first think of his scoring ability and how outstanding a scorer he is. His greatest asset is undoubtedly the fact that he is one of the best playmaking forwards in league history. He entered the league as an excellent defender. He is an all-around player, and I think he is too often perceived by people as merely an excellent scorer. ”Fan Gangdi said. Jeff Van Gundy coached the Rockets from the 2003-04 season to the 2006-07 season, and he coached McGrady from the 2004-05 season to the 2006-07 season. He is currently a commentator for ESPN and ABC.
