Working women sometimes not only have to deal with heavy work pressure, but also have to be wary of the \"concern\" shown by some \"unscrupulous\" supervisors toward them. How should working women respond to harassment that goes beyond normal limits? First, it is necessary to understand what types of people are prone to such thoughts. Generally speaking, there are 6 types of male bosses who have inappropriate feelings toward their colleagues. 1. Managers who often ask female colleagues to come to the office in the name of work, or even to work overtime together with them alone. It is normal for a manager to ask a female colleague to come to the office for a conversation. However, if there is no destination or if female colleagues are constantly asked to do this, it indicates some ulterior motives. Female colleagues must carefully consider the purpose behind their supervisor’s actions each time. When they notice that their supervisor invites them to do something without a clear reason, or asks them to work overtime over trivial matters, they should find some polite excuse to decline. Don’t let your boss feel they can take advantage of you. Generally speaking, if a supervisor notices that a female colleague is cautious, they tend not to take rash actions. 2. Bosses who are overly interested in the personal lives of female colleagues. It is normal for leaders to show concern for their female subordinates as well. However, it’s a bit abnormal to pay excessive attention to a female subordinate. Some bosses are overly interested in things unrelated to work, such as their female subordinates’ family, social relationships, love experiences, and so on. That’s a bit much. Therefore, unless a woman is absolutely certain of her supervisor’s character, she should generally not provide them with such information. 3. Supervisors who frequently make demands regarding the attire of female employees: Although the company has rules regarding employee attire, they are not aimed at that particular woman. If a supervisor frequently asks female subordinates to wear this or that kind of clothing, or even demands that they wear outfits with very low necklines, it is clearly excessive. Today I saw a cartoon on a blog: a real estate company manager asked the salesgirls to wear low-cut clothing, claiming that it was necessary to attract customers during the financial crisis, but the actual goal was to catch the attention of this manager himself. 4. Managers who often promise to raise the salaries or promote their female colleagues are, in fact, demonstrating leadership skill by giving high-performing female employees subtle hints that there may be opportunities for promotion or a salary increase; this approach can indeed boost employees’ motivation. However, if a promise is used to surely achieve such a goal, there are obviously other motives at play. A unit has strict regulations and organizational procedures regarding personnel changes, especially promotions and salary increases; it’s not up to the leader alone to decide. Even if it’s the leaders who decide, a public selection process is still needed. If a supervisor frequently makes such promises to female subordinates, it indicates that he has clear ulterior motives. 5. Frequently staring lustfully at female colleagues’ bosses. Every woman likes to be appreciated by others; it’s a natural desire for beauty in women, and there’s nothing wrong with that. However, if a boss constantly stares at his female subordinates in a lecherous manner, it’s a bit much. When I was the general manager of a listed company, a female colleague told me that she wanted to change jobs, crying as she explained that her boss often stared at her chest. I thought the problem was serious, so I conducted a survey and found that it was indeed the case – all the women in that department would cover their necks with their hands whenever they saw that manager. In the end, I gave this guy a good scolding. 6. Bosses who often ask female colleagues to go on business trips together – Going on business trips together as colleagues can sometimes be a pleasant experience. On one hand, they can share concerns, and on the other hand, they can chat to ease the loneliness of the journey. However, some bosses have malicious intentions and demand that their female subordinates go on business trips with them, mainly so that they can harass their subordinates more openly. Facing such a boss, female subordinates must take precautions once they realize that the boss has such intentions. I wonder if you have ever experienced sexual harassment; how did you handle it without feeling embarrassed?
Alas! Why is no one bothering me? Desiring to be harassed and abused~
