According to reports from Beijing time on June 5, the 2017 Düsseldorf World Table Tennis Championships have come to an end, with Ding Ning/Liu Shiwen winning the final women’s doubles title. In the final against their teammates Chen Meng/Zhu Yuling, Ding Ning/Liu Shiwen fought hard over seven sets to narrowly defeat their teammates 4-3 (9-11, 11-8, 11-13, 11-8, 11-6, 6-11, 11-9) and win the championship. The Chinese team achieved 15 consecutive titles in the women’s doubles event at the World Table Tennis Championships. Ding Ning became a double champion at this tournament, winning her first world championship in women’s doubles.
