(abbreviated as Tianchen Yaolong) was established in February 2012; it is a large state-owned enterprise jointly funded by China Tianchen Engineering Corporation and Fuzhou Yaolong Chemical Group Company. 　　China Tianchen Engineering Co., Ltd., formerly known as the First Design Institute of the Chemical Industry Administration, was established in 1953. It is now part of China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation and is a large-scale industrial engineering construction enterprise that comes under the direct supervision of the state-owned assets supervision and administration authority. Fuzhou Yaolong Chemical Group Company is the only base chemical raw material production facility in Fujian Province that manufactures soda ash; it influences the development of many downstream industries in the province. Its main products are soda ash, ammonium chloride, and nitric acid, and it holds a market share of over 90% in the provincial market. 　　Fujian Tianchen Yaolong New Materials Co., Ltd. is located in the Jiangyin Industrial Cluster in Fuqing City, Fujian Province. It is situated in the central section of the West Coast Economic Zone, on the southern side of Fuzhou, the capital city of Fujian Province. It is 85 kilometers away from Fuzhou, 81.5 kilometers from Changle International Airport, and only 45 kilometers away from the urban area of Fuqing. The industrial zone boasts a pleasant environment and favorable climate. The total planned area of the factory complex is 1.58 million square meters, with the construction carried out in two phases. The company employs approximately 700 people in total. 　　The first phase of Tianchen Yaolong involved an investment of around 4.2 billion yuan; through expansion and renovation, its production capacity was increased from 200,000 tons per year to 280,000 tons per year. It is currently the largest caprolactam production line in China. On August 4, 2014, the project achieved a successful first run, producing high-quality caprolactam product.
