Why is my post showing garbled characters?

I just spent a lot of effort writing a post, only to find it’s garbled text? What’s going on?
I’m so angry! I typed it on my phone, one character at a time.
I can’t stand this forum any longer, so I’m giving some suggestions: lol

How can one stay calm about this? Type whatever comes to mind; once it’s over, one might not be able to remember it!
It’s a system issue; lately my posts have been repeating frequently. Thankfully, the moderators helped delete them
