The Min River is a first-order tributary on the left bank of the upper Yangtze River. It originates from Langjialing in Songpan County, at the southern foot of the Min Mountains, and flows from northwest to southeast through the western part of the Sichuan Basin, joining the Yangtze River at Hejiangmen in Yibin City. The total length of its main stream is 1,279 kilometers. It has a drainage basin area of 135,400 square kilometers, with a natural drop of about 3,650 meters, making it the largest tributary in the Yangtze River basin in terms of water volume. The area above Dujiangyan is the upstream section, characterized by deep river valleys, steep slopes, rapid currents, and abundant hydroelectric potential ; The section from Dujiangyan to Leshan is the middle reach ; The section below Leshan City is the downstream section. The Min River is also one of the rivers in China where water resources development began earliest, with hydropower stations scattered throughout its basin.
I spent the night by the Min River in the evening. There were many pebbles along the riverbank, and those are my favorite things. After searching for them, washing them, and sorting them, I couldn’t hold them all in my hands, so I picked up another plastic bag and filled it with a dozen or so of them, then went back home happily. After cleaning and polishing, it is presented to you.
The naturally formed fish on the rock truly symbolize abundance throughout the years
Does it look like a New Year’s painting: a chubby baby holding a big carp?
Are the strange stones mentioned by the poster just those naturally formed, peculiar rocks?
