Excuse me, do you still have your work notebook from years ago? Will you throw them away? It records all your growth and experiences at work; do you look at it often? A couple of days ago, I saw on WeChat Moments that a well-known person was saying goodbye to his work diaries, and then throwing away those notebooks in which he had kept records of his work over the years. I looked at his notes; it was like seeing my own work notes from back then. I have many work notebooks – large, small, thin, thick – a total of two or three boxes full of them. I’ve moved house several times, and they have always followed me. I couldn’t bring myself to throw them away, even though I haven’t looked at them in ages. Suddenly I had an idea: to take the time to organize them into articles, perhaps as the best way to give them a proper home. . .
I destroy them at any time and place; when I’m in a bad mood, I tear such things to pieces. Some things, over the passage of time, have become part of us – reflected in our temperament, our way of speaking and behaving. By looking at your photos, it’s possible to discern, to some extent, the education you’ve received and the books you’ve read through your temperament.

Given the conditions at the time, taking notes was essential for learning*. What is recorded is one’s own understanding at that time. It’s nice to organize things; there can be pleasant surprises of gaining new insights by reviewing the old.
Actually, the notes taken right after graduation are the most detailed and clear; that’s great. If possible, I hope you can organize them into an electronic version to keep. . .

Moderators are unique. That’s great; it shows that you have a good memory, that you are diligent and serious about your field, and that you have become an ambassador for it. I remember all kinds of messy things, but I can’t bring myself to throw them away. I got rid of all my other notebooks, but I still keep this one that’s almost falling apart
You know what, my notebook sometimes contains all sorts of things written in it; sometimes, when I get distracted, I end up writing down the same key words over and over again. Occasionally, when I look at those messy notes, I try to figure out why I kept writing those things over and over. . So, memories come back, and one laughs or cries, hehe. . .
