I want my distant self, even if a bit panicked, to throw away the mask and run down the streets; to give hugs in a hurry, to leave in a state of excitement. The brave child dries their tears and remains strong. I don’t know how many wishes the world can hold. With outstretched hands and raised toes, one can touch the sun. Roam around with innocence, shout and sing loudly. If you’re like me, waiting for the next dawn, roam around with innocence—even if feeling a little sad.
