The role and benefits of registered safety engineers

My major is Process Equipment and Control Engineering. I currently work as a equipment technician. Is it useful to be a certified safety engineer? What benefits does it bring in terms of future career prospects and job options? Please advise.
It’s better to have one than none, even though there isn’t much overlap between equipment-related work and safety considerations
The exam requires three years of work experience. I have changed jobs and have been working at my current employer for one year. Can I get a work certificate from my new employer?
The so-called three years of experience refers to the date of your graduation; companies generally will go along with this. If they don’t, well, just buy a radish – you know what I mean
