The atmosphere in the office is tense and stressful; the work is exhausting. Just seeing the boss causes stress – one doesn’t dare to speak loudly, doesn’t dare to go get water, doesn’t dare to walk past the boss. Everything has to be done secretly; one isn’t dared to type on the keyboard or click the mouse for fear of making noise that might alert the boss. One doesn’t dare to open doors or windows, nor to take documents from the filing cabinets, out of fear of making noise that could disturb the boss. Mobile phones are set to silent mode, as there’s a fear that a call during working hours might annoy the boss. But when they’re on silent mode, I missed a few calls from the boss, which led to further misunderstandings – the boss thought I was deliberately ignoring his calls. Sitting in the office, I’m extremely nervous and exhausted, constantly sweating. Every morning, before the boss arrives, I secretly fetch a bottle of tap water from the dormitory and place it on my desk, as I feel that doing anything too noisily might make the boss think I’m trying to outshine him. Bosses are very suspicious; if you’re not obedient and not completely loyal, they will deal with you
These days, everything – life, work, social interactions – feels extremely stressful.
I think we shouldn’t treat junior managers as bosses. Just try to treat them as seniors and friends. That’s all.
Stressed from working in an office? The pressure of working on-site is even greater than yours!
Ugh, what kind of boss is this……
The office is indeed oppressive, especially when sharing it with a supervisor, so one has to strive to become the leader oneself.
Do your own thing. Sometimes, it’s you who ends up indulging the leader; be more confident. You don’t owe him anything; don’t deliberately try to influence others, complete your work as required, and avoid direct conflicts with your supervisors – everyone has their pride.
It’s not that serious, right? Just be yourself and do what you need to do
Hehe, such maintenance can only be attributed to one’s own incompetence; one has no choice but to compromise: lol
Haha, don’t view leaders as being so petty; since they have reached such a high position, they surely possess the capacity to be tolerant; Do one’s job well and be true to oneself ;
