1 In a daze, I felt as though I had returned to that summer 10 years ago. It would be truly terrifying if, after 10 or 20 years, you earned more money, but the nature of the work you did, as well as its technical complexity, remained almost unchanged. If one does not take the initiative to change, they wait for external forces to do so. Changing oneself is a breakthrough, a challenge, and a transformation. For others, change means breaking things apart, eliminating them, or bringing about revolution. 2 The five stages of a happy life: First stage: You handle the big matters, while the small ones are left unattended, leading to feelings of unhappiness ; Second level: Unable to handle big tasks, and refusing to do small ones – left in a dilemma ; Third level: Unable to handle major tasks, but good at handling minor ones; finding joy in hardship ; The fourth realm: Handle the major tasks well, delegate the minor ones, and find joy in it ; Fifth level: The great matters are taken care of, the minor matters disappear, and one lives in peace and contentment. 3 There is a state that one really likes and longs for, called peace. Living is a troublesome thing; there are many times of anxiety, impatience, and resentment, while there are few moments of peace, calmness, and composure. Often complains that others don’t understand them. Everyone desires to be understood, which shows that understanding is not easy; being understood is even harder. Attempting to achieve understanding through endless complaints, explanations, debates, and arguments only pushes people further apart. Not understanding should itself be understandable. Understanding \"not understanding\" is the beginning of comprehension, as well as a prerequisite for seeking to understand. If you can’t even understand why others don’t get you, how can you expect to understand them? How can someone who doesn’t understand others expect them to understand him? 4 What is meant by self-cultivation is not the faint smile on your lips that can be seen every day when you go to the office ; Rather, when you’re poor and frustrated, don’t pour boiling water on the company’s potted plants. Manners also don’t mean constantly using “you” when speaking to each other, nor does it mean referring to the other person as “he” in front of a third party. It’s not difficult to maintain an humble and gentlemanly demeanor during the joyful times of the Spring Equinox ; Those who can remain calm and unhurried even in times of disappointment and adversity are the ones we should revere the most. 6. To judge a leader, it is sufficient to see who they spend time with on a regular basis and whom they rely on: the type of employees they promote or give important roles to sends a strong signal about who they are and what values they hold dear. Is the decision to promote TA in line with the vision and values that TA talks about on a daily basis? Do those who are promoted truly serve the company’s vision and key priorities? Will the employees take those who have been promoted as role models? 7 As we can see, the reasons for being unable to find a suitable successor are almost always related to leaders’ reluctance or insufficient delegation of tasks. Whenever I see leaders who are overwhelmed by work or whose companies fail to realize their full potential, I know it’s another leader who spends too much time on less important tasks and too little time on what truly matters. The better a leader is, the more willing they are to spend time on the following: shaping the organization’s vision for the next 3-5 years (that is, if the organization succeeds, what do you want it to look like?) ) Innovation/R&D of new products ; Customer Relations and Services ; Attract the best talents and develop them into even better ones.
