Job responsibilities: 1. Devote all efforts to ensuring the safe, stable, continuous, efficient, and optimal operation of gasification and purification systems, and provide training for new employees to enhance their skills in operational procedures as well as their awareness and competence in terms of safety, environmental protection, and health. 2. Lead the entire team to follow the instructions given by the user during shift operations, and adjust the operating parameters of the equipment in a timely manner to meet the user’s needs. 3. Lead the entire team to carry out emergency repairs on the gasification and purification units in accordance with the planned accident handling procedure, and organize the team to restore the operation of the trip or shutdown devices as instructed by the user. Candidates should meet the following basic requirements: a bachelor’s degree. (Education requirements can be relaxed in favor of experience); possesses strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills. There is a track record of success in safety, environmental protection, quality control, and employee management. Possess the ability to communicate effectively with team leaders of upstream and downstream units. 7 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of Shell gasification units. Experience of having worked continuously for at least 3 years in the role of deputy shift supervisor at Shell’s gasification plant, or at least 2 years in the role of shift supervisor. It should also be noted that the purification unit prefers candidates with experience in the Lurgi low-temperature methanol washing process, while the gasification unit is seeking those with experience operating Shell powder coal gasifiers.
